Temporary Works Supervisor - Section Engineer

Temporary Works Supervisor and Section Engineer with 13+ years’ experience delivering complex civil, structural and infrastructure projects. Strong capability in supervising temporary works operations including scaffolding, formwork, falsework, shoring, excavation support, access systems and rebar support. Skilled in ensuring compliance with BS5975 principles, design briefs, RAMS, ITPs, CDM regulations and Safe Systems of Work.

Experienced in coordinating subcontractors, managing site safety, conducting inspections and ensuring temporary works are installed, used and dismantled safely. Demonstrates strong technical competence in setting out, surveying, QA/QC inspections and structural supervision, with hands‑on experience using Total Station and AutoCAD. Adept at maintaining temporary works registers, producing inspection records, raising NCRs and supporting safe sequencing of temporary and permanent works.

Brings extensive experience delivering temporary works across residential and infrastructure projects valued £30m+, including daily/weekly inspections, toolbox talks, lifting coordination, site logistics and hazard control. Strong communicator with proven ability to liaise with designers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure temporary works requirements are fully understood and implemented correctly.

Holds an MBA and a UK ENIC‑verified Level 6 Civil Engineering degree, alongside CSCS, sustainability training and ICE membership. Recently relocated to the UK with updated knowledge of UK construction standards, temporary works procedures and health & safety requirements. Offers a blend of temporary works supervision, structural engineering capability and site leadership suited to UK civils, infrastructure and construction projects.
